Business executive Joanne Trealoff serves as the vice president and CFO of Eclipse RV Inc., a toy hauler and travel trailer manufacturer she co-founded with her husband Dallen. Under the leadership of Joanne Trealoff, the company was awarded the A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
BBB is an online platform where businesses (sellers and buyers) trust each other because they all adhere to a certain set of business ethos. BBB has developed a rating system to represent its opinion on how likely a particular business would interact with its clients. Using useful information obtained about the business and customer complaints publicly available, BBB rates the business. It is to be noted, however, that BBB does not use customer reviews in computing its ratings.
Assigning letters to represent its ratings (F being the lowest and A+ the highest), the letters tell how confident the public had been of the business – how trustworthy it has been operating and how it has exercised good faith in addressing its clients’ concerns.
Using a formula proprietary to BBB, the ratings are computed based on 16 factors. The objective information gathered plus the actual incidences of how the business behaved are verified and evaluated. The 16 factors are weighted based on BBB’s assessment of how important a specific factor is to the business being rated.
